Mercer County Man Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison for Selling Oxycodone

A Mercer County Man was sentenced to seven years, three months in prison for his role in a conspiracy to distribute oxycodone pain pills, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced on Tuesday.
Anthony DiMatteo, 32, of Trenton, previously pleaded guilty to an indictment charging him with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute oxycodone.
He was also sentenced to serve three years of supervised release and a fine of $1,000.

DiMatteo sold oxycodone-based prescription pain pills that he received from his conspirators between May 2011 and October 2011, according to documents filed in the case and statements made in court.
His co-conspirators were Joseph A. “JoJo” Giorgianni, Charles Hall III and Mary Manfredo, and he obtained the pills at JoJo’s Steakhouse in Trenton and sold them. He shared the proceeds with Girogianni and Hall.

DiMatteo also told Hall how to obtain prescription pain pills from a doctor in Nutley for resale.
