Mercer Man Dies After Dirt Bike Crash At D&R State Park Lawrence
Oliver Harris, 40, of Trenton was pulled out from the canal by emergency responders on Monday, authorities said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A Mercer County man was killed in a dirt bike accident at the Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park, Lawrence Township on Monday, authorities said.
Oliver Harris, 40, of Trenton was pulled out from the canal by emergency responders on Monday, said Larry Hajna, spokesperson of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP). He was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The D&R Canal State Park is managed by the NJDEP.

The investigation is being conducted by the New Jersey State Police.
The D&R Canal State Park is a popular destination for hikers, cyclists and runners in Central Jersey. The park spans more than 70 miles and is open for use from sunrise to sunset.
