Mystery Powder On Amazon Box Sickens NJ Woman, Police Investigating
The woman called Hamilton Police after she began to feel ill, police said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A woman from Hamilton said she fell ill after inhaling a mystery white powder on an Amazon package that was delivered to her Thursday, police said.
The woman received the package Thursday around 12:39 p.m. and found the powdery substance when she opened the box, police said.
When she inhaled the substance she began to feel ill and called the Hamilton Police Division.

Haz-Mat units from Hamilton Township Fire Department and Trenton Fire Department responded to the scene. The substance was tested and declared non-lethal, police said.
The substance will be sent to New Jersey State police for additional testing and police are still investigating.
