Most Mercer County Offices Closed for Election Day

Some offices and four branches of the county library system will remain open.

Most Mercer County offices and facilities will be closed on Election Day Nov. 4, county officials said on Thursday.

The following County offices will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 4, and will reopen for business on Wednesday, Nov. 5: McDade Administration Building, 640 South Broad St.; Criminal Courthouse, 400 South Warren St.; Civil Courthouse and Office of the County Surrogate, 175 South Broad St.; and Mercer County Connection, Route 33 at Paxson Avenue, Hamilton.

The office of County Clerk Paula Sollami Covello will be closed for regular business, but will be open to perform election duties. Calls to the Clerk’s Office will be accepted at the following numbers: (609) 989-6494 and (609) 989-6495.

The following County offices and facilities will remain open: Trenton-Mercer Airport; Correction Center; the Indoor Tennis Center at Mercer County Park; all four County golf courses; the Equestrian Center; the Wildlife Center; the County Sheriff’s Office; and the Emergency Services Communications Center.

The following four branches of the Mercer County Library system will also be open for business: Ewing, Hickory Corner, Lawrence Headquarters and West Windsor. All other branches will be closed for Election Day.
