National Prescription Drug Take Back Day Set for Oct. 26

Previous events brought in about 3 million pounds of unused prescription drugs.

Mercer County residents can get rid of unused and expired prescription medication later this month, no questions asked.

Sheriff Jack Kemler will participate in the 7th National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Oct. 26 in the County Administration Building’s parking lot, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The administration building is located at 640 South Broad Street in Trenton.

The service is anonymous and free, and done in conjunction with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), officials said.
