The National Writing Project @ Rider University is pleased to invite you to join us on campus for a summer of outstanding professional development opportunities. Presented by NWP-trained Teacher Consultants, you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sessions:
- Modeling Informational Writing, Poetry, and Personal Narratives (7/8-7/11, 8:30-11:30 AM)
- Writing to Support Content-Area Literacy (7/8 for K-5; 7/9 for 6-12, 8:30-11:30 AM)
- Beginning Teacher Workshop (7/8 & 7/9, 12:30-3:30 PM)
- Using MS OneDrive in the Classroom (7/10 & 7/11, 12:30-3:30 PM)
- Readers Workshop: Building a Community of Readers (7/14-7/17, 8:30-11:30 AM)
- Can writing still be engaging and authentic...even when preparing for the PARCC? ABSOLUTELY! (7/14 & 7/15, 12:30-3:30 PM)
