New Assistant Superintendent Appointed For Lawrence Public Schools
Rajneet Goomer's appointment was approved during Wednesday's school board meeting. She will begin in her new role on Sept. 19.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Lawrence Township Public Schools has appointed Rajneet Goomer as the district’s new Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instructions.
The school board finalized the appointment during Wednesday’s Board Meeting. Goomer will begin in her new position on Sept. 19.
“Ms. Goomer has several years of central office experience and brings a wealth of expertise and experience from other high-performing districts,” school superintendent Ross Kasun said. “She is passionate about being able to do the groundwork that makes our strategic plan a reality. She has had great success in fostering systematic, districtwide approaches to enhance student achievement, wellness, and equity.”

Goomer has more than 17 years of experience in education rooted in equity, diversity, and inclusion.
She began her career in the South Brunswick School District as a speech-language specialist before transitioning to administration. She then moved to Robbinsville Public Schools as the supervisor of student services before taking on the director of student services role a year later.

During her tenure in Robbinsville, Goomer was known for innovation in programming to support students, including creating a therapy dog program, therapeutic supports, executive function, and literacy.
She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in speech-language pathology, both from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). She also holds a diversity and inclusion certificate from Cornell University.
