New Instructional Supervisor Appointed For Lawrence Public Schools

Sarah Foster will replace Yvette Panasowich who retires after 16 years in the school district, officials said.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — The Lawrence Township Board of Education recently appointed a new Instructional Supervisor for the school district.

Sarah Foster will be responsible for the supervision of math and science instruction in Grades 7-12 and art education for all students in kindergarten through grade 12, the school district said. Foster replaces Yvette Panasowich who retires after 16 years in the school district.

Foster is an experienced educator, passionate about educational equity and has presented at the NJDOE’s annual State Conference for Equity.

Foster comes to Lawrence Township from Robbinsville Public Schools, where she has served for the last four years as the Supervisor of Secondary Curriculum and Professional Development. Prior to this, she taught visual arts in Hopewell Valley for 11 years.

Foster has a bachelor’s degree in Art Education from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Rider University.
