New Restaurant Opening On Rt. 1 In Lawrence Township This Weekend
The restaurant brings Nashville's hot chicken tradition to Mercer on One with a grand opening set for March 21.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — A Nashville-style hot chicken restaurant is set to open at Mercer on One this weekend, bringing a new fast-casual dining option to the Route 1 corridor.
Broadway Hot & Honey Chicken will hold its grand opening Saturday, March 21, at 11 a.m. at the shopping center located at the intersection of Route 1 and Darrah Lane.
The restaurant will occupy a 2,219-square-foot space at the Federal Realty Investment Trust-owned property.

The fast-casual concept specializes in crispy fried chicken with honey-infused sauces rooted in Southern flavors. The Lawrence Township location marks the brand's entry into the New Jersey market.
"Mercer on One continues to attract premier dining and retail concepts, further establishing itself as a key destination for the Greater Trenton area," Federal Realty said in a statement.
