No Fries, Just the Cash Register Please
Surveillance video showed a suspect taking the register through the drive-thru window.

Lawrence Police are investigating the theft of the drive-thru cash register at McDonalds at the Brunswick Circle Extension, where someone made off with a drawer containing $401.
The incident happened on Monday, Oct. 14 shortly before 8 p.m., when the employee manning the drive-thru noticed the cash drawer was missing. She had gotten up for a moment and when she returned, the drawer was gone.
Surveillance video showed someone wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white stripes down the right arm and pink gloves, approximately 5'9"-5'11" tall, walked up to the cash window, pried open the glass window, reached over to the computer screen and managed to open the register.

The person then took the drawer and fled to the back of the property.
