
The Notre Dame High School girls lacrosse team got off to a fast start en route to winning their season opener against Ewing on Tuesday.
The Irish scored 15 first-half goals as they cruised to a 17-1 victory. Dina Cifelli led the way with five goals and three assists for Notre Dame.
Brooke Gallagher also scored five goals, while Sarah Gallagher added three goals and two assists.

Courtney Henig notched five assists and one goal in the win, while Lindsey Tattory (two goals) and Kelley Wiese (one goal, two assists) also helped lead the Irish to victory.
Alexis Mizsak recorded two saves while earning the win in goal.

Lawrenceville High School (1-1) will travel to Notre Dame on Thursday.
