TOMS RIVER, N.J. - Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity is now accepting applications for their homeownership program. Do you live in substandard housing? Do you live in overcrowded conditions? Are you spending a significant amount of your paycheck on rent? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity’s homeownership program may be for you. Northern Ocean Habitat develops decent, affordable homes in partnership with qualified homebuyers who help build and then purchase their homes with an affordable mortgage. In order to qualify for Habitat homeownership, potential applicants must have a need for adequate housing, meet income eligibility requirements and be willing to partner with Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity.
