PA Man Killed In Fatal 2-Car Crash In Mercer County: NJSP
The crash occurred on the NJ Turnpike in Robbinsville on Thursday. One person was killed and one suffered minor injuries, officials said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ – A 26-year-old Philadelphia man was killed Thursday in a two-car crash in Mercer County, the New Jersey State Police said.
The crash occurred around 8:24 a.m. on the NJ Turnpike northbound on the inner road MP 62.5 in Robbinsville.
According to a preliminary investigation, a Scion was traveling north on the inner road of the turnpike and a Dodge Ram was traveling north behind the Scion.

The Dodge struck the rear of the Scion and as a result, Mikias Gurmessa, 26, who was a passenger in the Scion sustained fatal injuries, NJSP said.
The driver of the Scion sustained minor non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Dodge did not report any injuries on scene.
The left lane of the northbound inner roadway was closed for approximately three hours resulting in heavy traffic congestion.
The crash is currently under investigation.
