Pedestrian Struck While Trick-Or-Treating In Mercer County: Police

The woman was out trick-or-treating with her two children. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Hamilton police said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ – A woman who was out trick-or-treating with her children was struck by a car, Hamilton Police said Wednesday.

On Monday, at 7:13 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of West Park Avenue and Lafayette Avenue on a report of a pedestrian struck. A resident who was out trick-or-treating with her two children was struck by a vehicle, but suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The woman was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital.

While waiting for transport to take the children back home, Officers Alex Zuzzio and Sean Domey and Sgt Ed Lugo decided to walk the children around the neighborhood for trick-or-treating.
