Pizza Delivery Driver Beaten, Robbed; Mercer Co. Man Charged
Cristian Bransosa was taken into custody Friday night after a brief foot chase, police said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ - A Trenton man was charged after robbing and assaulting a pizza delivery driver in Hamilton, police said Monday.
Officers responded around 7 p.m. to the 100 block of Samuel Street following a report of a robbery. According to police, Cristian Bransosa struck a pizza delivery driver multiple times with a blunt object, knocking him to the ground, then took approximately $260 in cash before leaving the area.
Officers searched the surrounding neighborhood based on witness accounts and the driver's description, and located Bransosa walking nearby a short time later, police said. He was taken into custody following a brief foot chase.

Bransosa faces charges of robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and possession of drug paraphernalia.
