Police Conducting 'Active Investigation' At Lawrence High School

Police were called to the high school on Wednesday morning. "No threat" at this time, said school officials.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Lawrence Township police were called to Lawrence High School Wednesday morning, school authorities confirmed.

Authorities said the police are currently conducting "an active investigation."

"There is no threat or danger at this time," school authorities told Patch. "More information will be released when it is available."

Early on Wednesday morning, parents reported that the school was in "lockdown," after they received a message from district officials. Police and school officials are yet to release details.
