Police ID Man Killed After SUV Overturns During Storm In Mercer County
Of the seven occupants, three were ejected from the SUV when it overturned multiple times on Monday night.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — West Windsor Police have identified the man who was killed after an SUV overturned on a wet road in West Windsor Monday night, as Jamson Lysius, 43 of Trenton.
Lysius was traveling in a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder with six other people when it overturned multiple times on the wet road.
At 10:40 p.m. on Monday, the West Windsor Patrol Units were dispatched to Old Trenton Road near Cubberley Road for a serious motor vehicle crash. On arrival, officers found a Nissan Pathfinder with seven occupants had overturned, police said.

Of the seven occupants, three were ejected from the SUV during the collision. Lysius was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The remaining occupants were taken to the Capital Health Regional Medical Center with a variety of injuries.

Two are currently listed as being in critical condition with life-threatening injuries while the remaining four sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
According to preliminary investigation, the vehicle was traveling westbound on Old Trenton Road just west of Cubberley Road. As it was raining and the roadway was wet, the SUV lost control, left the road to the right, and overturned multiple times in the 1400 Block of Old Trenton Road where it ultimately came to its final resting place, police said.
The investigation is currently ongoing under the direction of Traffic Sgt. K. Loretucci .
