Police Identify Pedestrian Fatally Struck On Route 1 In Lawrence
A 54-year-old Lawrence woman was fatally struck in the area of Route 1 and Bakers Basin, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - A 54-year-old Lawrence Township woman was identified as the victim who was fatally struck on Monday morning.
Maria Moreira was lying on the road in the area of Route 1 and Bakers Basin, which was reported by a passing motorist at 6:38 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found that Moreira was fatally struck, police said.
Detective Joseph Radlinsky of the Lawrence Township Police Department is heading the investigation with assistance from Detectives from the Mercer County Prosecutors Office Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash Unit.
