Police Investigate Fatal Shooting In Mercer County

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Mercer County Thursday night. Trenton Police discovered the body of 23-year-old Marquis Saunders, of Hamilton, in an alley on Cleveland Avenue in Trenton at about 7:40 p.m., the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said on Friday.

Saunders was found unconscious and unresponsive, bleeding from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy was scheduled for Friday.
