Lawrenceville, NJ -- Catalytic converters have been stolen from nine cars in the parking lot at Rider University recently, Planet Princeton reports.

Police believe the thefts are being committed by two or three men who are driving a 2000 Nissan Altima. Public safety and Lawrence Township Police are conducting enhanced patrols.

“We have been informed that thefts have also occurred in surrounding communities and institutions,” Rider University Director of Public Safety Vickie Weaver told students and staff in an email this week, according to the report.
