Man Wanted For Attempted Luring Of Student In Mercer County
A man driving a blue car attempted to lure a high school student in Hopewell Township, police said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Police in Mercer County are looking for a man who attempted to lure a high school student into his car on Thursday, Hopewell Township police said.
On Thursday, around 12: 30 p.m. a student from Hopewell Valley Central High School was walking on Pennington Titusville Road, close to the school property.
As the female student stopped for a minute, a blue Honda CR-V stopped near her and the driver asked if she needed a ride, police said.

Although the student refused, the driver asked again and encouraged the student to get into his vehicle.
After the student refused a few more times, the driver sped away, police aid. The student returned to the school and informed the staff of the incident.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, middle-aged, with long brown hair in a ponytail and some facial hair. The vehicle is a blue Honda CR-V.
