Popular Mercer Pastry Shop Is Opening New Location In The County

Nino's Pastry Shop will be opening its second location in Ewing on May 30.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Nino's Pastry Shop in Hamilton is a popular destination for Italian pasties, cakes and other goodies.

They are now ready to expand and bring their delicacies to more residents in Mercer County.

Nino’s will be opening its second location in Ewing, the pastry shop announced on Facebook. The new shop will be located at 21 Scotch Road, and the opening date has been set for May 30.

Well known for Italian cakes, cannolis, walnut rings, and breakfast items, the shop was opened in 1996 by Nino and his wife Jane.

Born and raised in Palermo, Sicily, Nino moved to the U.S. when he was 15 years old. He worked at various bakeries in NJ, NY and PA before starting his own business.

The business is still family-owned. Their menu includes cakes, cannolis, walnut rings, pies, Danishes, cookies and more.
