Mercer County Towns To Remove 'Accumulated' Snow From Streets

Over the next three days, accumulated snow will be removed by the Department of Public Works in the areas of John St., Leigh Ave., Birch Ave. and Race St. in Princeton.

Residents are requested to refrain from parking on these streets to allow for the clearing to take place. Vehicles can be parked in the Community Park yard as an alternative.

In Lawrence Township, an ordinance requires that owners, occupants and tenants of property which abut a sidewalk are responsible for removing snow or ice from the sidewalk.

A path must be cleared to a width of 24 inches and must be cleared within 24 hours from the time that the snow event ended or the ice formed.
