“The Word Unspoken,” music of William Byrd and Philippe de Monte — Dedicated to Renaissance music and directed by Gabriel Crouch, Princeton’s Director of Choral Programs, the membership of this early music group boasts a wealth of experience in consort singing. The program Unspoken reveals the real William Byrd, a composer with expressive and emotive powers beyond any of his contemporaries.
