Lawrenceville Radio Shacks Among Over 1,700 Closing Nationwide

The Radio Shacks at the Quakerbridge Mall and on Route 1 in Lawrenceville are among the 1,784 Radio Shack branches closing nationwide, according to foxbusiness.com.

The other 4,000 stores will be purchased by General Wireless, with up to 1,750 of those stores being turned over to Sprint, according to the report.

The Radio Shacks that are closing are offering up to 50 percent off many products, and store fixtures and equipment will also be sold, according to the report.

Radio Shack has been in business for 95 years.
