Report: Are There Any Haunted Houses in Mercer County?

This Halloween season, thousands of Burlington County residents will flock to local haunted houses for a scary holiday thrill.

But how many of those thrill-seekers realize that there may be several real-life “haunted houses” located in their neighborhoods?

Recently, real estate information provider RealtyTrac released a report of “America’s Most Haunted,” which included data for vacant houses with a deceased homeowner.

More than 22,000 single-family homes in America currently fit the above criteria, according to RealtyTrac.

With a tongue-in-cheek nod to the supernatural, here are the total numbers of homes in Burlington County by town that may potentially be haunted in your neighborhood:

Pennington: 1

Princeton: 1

Princeton Junction: 1

Trenton: 78
