Resident Found Dead In Basement Of Mercer Home, Police Investigating

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating the "suspicious death," authorities said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ - A Trenton resident was found dead in the basement of their home on Wednesday, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said. Authorities are investigating the incident as a suspicious death.

On Wednesday, Trenton Communications received a call for a well-being check at a residence on Park Avenue. Officers forced entry into the home and found the body of an individual in the basement.

No other information about the person is currently available.
