Rider Men's Cross Country Team Suspended After Attempting to Run Naked on Track

The team missed a meet the university hosted last month.

Rider University men’s cross country coach suspended the entire team after university police discovered members of the team preparing to run naked on the track, nj.com reports.

Alcohol was also discovered at the track, and an ensuing investigation revealed “no ill intent and no intent to coerce other members of the team to participate,” but officials called the conduct “unaccepatable,” according to the report.

An unspecified number of athletes on the 28-member team were charged with alcohol violations and hazing, according to the report.
