McKenzie started 29 of 30 games and led the Broncs in scoring, rebounds, steals (58), assists (50) and minutes (34.7).
“MyNeshia showed great development this past season,” Milligan said. “She became more versatile and was a threat to not only score but make a great pass, grab a steal or go after a rebound. She has become such a complete player and really, one of the top players in the conference.”
McKenzie helped Rider to a 15-win season, the fifth most wins in the 74-year history of the program and Rider tied its best MAAC record and finish at 10-8, finishing fourth in the conference.
McKenzie enters her senior season needing five points to become the 19th 1,000 point scorer at Rider and she is currently fifth all time on Rider’s career rebound list.
McKenzie is one of two players from the MAAC being recognized with Pepsi Max MAAC Player of the Year Damika Martinez from Iona College recognized with First Team All-Met honors.
