Rider University BOT Renews President's Appointment
Gregory Dell'Omo's second term runs through July 31, 2022.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - The Rider University Board of Trustees has renewed the appointment of President Gregory G. Dell’Omo, Ph.D., for a second term, the university announced. His term will run through July 31, 2022. Dell’Omo has been the university’s seventh president since August 2015.
The vote was unanimous and “reaffirms the board’s belief in Dell’Omo’s leadership,” according to Rider Board of Trustees Chairman Robert S. Schimek. Schimek pointed to Dell’Omo’s accomplishments, including the development and adoption of Rider’s new strategic plan, “Our Path Forward,” which establishes a framework for further university success over the next several years.
He has also led the successful completion of the most recent Middle States re-accreditation process; planned and begun the silent phase of the most ambitious capital campaign in university history which, in part, will help to fund the newly created Campus Master Plan; and has implemented a unique Engaged Learning program that sets Rider apart from its competitors in the way students learn both in and out of the classroom.
