LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — School is going to be different this year, since many districts have opted to start the new semester remotely. But Lawrence Township Public Schools is hoping to bring an element of fun to student’s first day.

The district is asking parents to capture students’ first day of virtual class on Sep. 8, and send it to them.

Parents have until Sep. 11 to send in their pictures along with details like the child's first name, grade level, and school.

Photos need to be sent to ltpssocial@ltps.info.

The district will use the photos in a slideshow, and by submitting the pictures, parents will be granting the district permission to use it.
