State Employee From Mercer County Stole $200 From Business: Cops
Timothy Bailey, of Hamilton, was still in his probationary period with the Division of Taxation when he stole $200 from a local business.

A Special Agent Trainee with the New Jersey Department of the Treasury’s Division of Taxation has been arrested for stealing from an establishment in Dunellen during a state investigation, authorities announced.
Timothy Bailey, 30, of Hamilton, was arrested and charged with one count of fourth-degree theft by unlawful taking on Tuesday, Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey, Division of Taxation Special Agent in Charge Charles Giblin and Dunellen Police Chief Jeffrey Nelson announced.
Bailey was still in his probationary period when he stole more than $200 from an establishment in Dunellen on Aug. 16, 2018, according to authorities. He was sworn in as a Special Agent Trainee in December 2017, and was arrested at his place of employment in Freehold. He has been suspended with pay, pending an internal hearing.
