Teenager Charged After Bringing Toy Pellet Gun to Boys and Girls Club in Lawrence Township
The juvenile from Trenton was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Lawrence Township, NJ -- A teenage boy was recently charged after he was discovered in possession of a toy pellet gun at the Boys and Girls Club in Lawrence Township, police said Tuesday morning.
Employees at the club discovered the gun while searching for a phone that was reported missing on Feb. 11. Upon discovering the gun, they contacted police and the 16-year-old from Trenton ran off.
Police were able to track down the boy, who was subsequently charged with unlawful possession and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Police filed a report and released the boy to his mother, pending an appearance in juvenile court.
