The Upcoming Weekend: Art, Crafts, Music & More

Here is a look at some family-friendly events taking place in the Mercer County area this upcoming weekend:

Friday

Variety Show, 7 p.m., auditorium, Grace Norton Rogers Elementary School, Hightstown. Enjoy talent performances by students of all ages. Concessions will be available for purchase. Tickets: $5.

Saturday

Family Day – Passport to Art, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.., the Princeton University Art Museum, Nassau Street, Princeton, This free event features live performances, art projects, storytelling and more. Pizza and refreshments will be served. 

, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., , 58 Riverside Drive, Princeton. Learn about good nutrition and the benefits of a healthy, active lifestyle. There will be bluegrass music, a plant sale, garden tours, talks and demonstrations, soccer clinics, martial arts demos, tea tastings, fire trucks, independent films on school gardening and more.

, 3-4 p.m., activity room, , 2751 U.S. Highway 1, Lawrence Township. For ages 8 and above. Decorate a felt pennant with stickers and letters. Online registration is required at http://webserver.mcl.org.

Sunday

, 12 p.m., Etra Lake Park, East Windsor. Celebrate the Jewish holiday with music, carnival games, inflatable rides, an obstacle course, face painting and a barbecue.

, 1-4 p.m., Hickory Corner Branch, Mercer County Library. 138 Hickory Corner Road, East Windsor. Come decorate the library’s sidewalks with your artwork.
