Tree Lighting Ceremony Scheduled For Dec. 8 In Lawrence

Lots of music and fun events are planned for the tree-lighting ceremony.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — It’s time to kick off the holiday season in Lawrence Township. The annual tree lighting ceremony is scheduled to take place on Dec. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m.

There will be crafts, treats, fun attractions and a visit from a Santa that you won't want to miss.

Children will be given goodie bags and there will be hot chocolate and cookies, while supplies last. There will also be a train ride and snow globe.

The event will take place at the Municipal building. There will also be a madrigal performance by the students of Lawrence High School.
