In 2012, Kyle attended the Trenton, NJ Under Armour Baseball Factory National Tryout, where he was recognized for his outstanding performance. Later that year, Kyle was selected to participate in the Pirate City Christmas Camp and Tournament. Baseball Factory's Christmas Camp and Tournament gives players the opportunity to train with the best coaches in the nation and is the highest rated Baseball Factory camp by players and parents. Kyle, a catcher, graduated from     Blair Academy this year and will continue his academic and baseball success at Lynchburg College in Lynchburg College.

During the high school and pre-high school tryouts, Baseball Factory’s staff of professional scouts, former professional players, and former college coaches will review each player’s speed, pitching, hitting, defense, and arm strength. Players will receive a verbal evaluation of their skills over the phone within 72 hours of the tryout. The pre-high school tryout for 12-14 year-olds will focus on providing players with a fun workout during which player development tips and guidance are provided and players will learn more about their individual strengths and areas for improvement. During the high school tryout for 14-18 year-olds, Baseball Factory’s staff will lead a college recruiting question and answer session. This session focuses on the college recruiting process and gives players recommended guidelines they should follow in order to increase their chances of playing college ball and receiving scholarships.

Top players from both of they tryouts may be selected to compete with Baseball Factory and Under Armour at different National Team or Training events. These events provide selected players with an unmatched baseball experience to continue their development and ultimately help prepare them for the college level. Since 1994, Baseball Factory has helped over 50,000 high school players reach their dream of playing college baseball. In addition, over 4,500 players have been drafted and 350 have gone on to play in the majors.
