Veterans Day Ceremony At Rider University Set For Thursday
Rider University will hold its annual Veterans Day ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 7, 11 a.m. at the Kaplan Plaza.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Rider University will hold its annual Veterans Day ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 7, 11 a.m. at the Kaplan Plaza in front of Lynch Adler Hall, the university announced.
Dr. Lisa J. Hou will be the keynote speaker. Hou is a physician for the New Jersey Army National Guard, a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, and Deputy Adjutant General for New Jersey.
The mobile Armed Forces Heritage Museum, which showcases military and individuals in the region who served in uniform, will be on display from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Campus Mall will also be adorned with thousands of flags for the sixth straight year in tribute to veterans and military members from among the Rider community.
Rider University will honor all U.S. veterans and memorialize those military members lost in service to their country during the ceremony, which is expected to last about an hour.
