A
project of The 8th Floor in New York City of recent video works by artists
living in Cuba and the United States. The more than 25 videos presented explore
a dynamic worldview through a lens of Cuban culture. The exhibition is curated
by Rachel Perera Weingeist, Senior Advisor to the Shelley & Donald Rubin
Foundation. As collectors of Cuban art, Mr. and Mrs. Rubin are dedicated to
providing opportunities for artists, as well as preserving the rich culture of
the island.
This exhibition is free and open to the public. There will be an
Exhibition Opening Reception on Wednesday, October 23 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.
