'Weedman' Indicted on Narcotics Charges Following Raid At His Joint In Mercer County: Prosecutor
Ed Forchione's joint was raided and 11 people were arrested back in April.

The New Jersey man and frequent third party political candidate famously known as “Weedman” is being indicted on narcotics charges.
Ed Forchione, was indicted on four counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, one count of distribution, one count of possession with the intent to distribute, one count of possession with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, one count of distribution within 1,000 feet of a school, one count of maintaining a narcotics nuisance, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to distribute and one count of maintaining a fortified structure.
Forchione was one of 11 people arrested as part of a two-month investigation that concluded with a raid of Weedman’s Joint in April.

Weedman’s Joint in Trenton served as a café and sanctuary for the last year, before complaints began coming in from the community about the constant foot traffic in and out of the establishment at all hours.
Police say they also seized more than $19,000 in marijuana in that raid.

He is also charged with possessing and distributing marijuana on additional dates in
March and April 2016 in the city of Trenton.
He is free on bail and scheduled to appear in Mercer County Superior Court on August 11.
