The Terraces at Seacrest Village Honors U.S. Military Veterans

For The Terraces at Seacrest Village in Little Egg Harbor, Veteran’s Day was a time for paying tribute to its residents who have proudly served their country in wartime and peacetime. The assisted living community hosted a luncheon to honor its 11 military veterans:

• Edward Green, Army Reserves
• Thomas Glover, Army
• James Gannon, Air Force Reserves
• Vincent DiRenzo, Air Force
• Joseph Ficchi, Army
• Ronald Abramowitz, Army
• Peter Trakimowicz, Army
• George Skillman, Air Force Reserves

Seacrest Executive Director Wendy Becker said, “Words are not enough to express the gratitude we have for the service and sacrifices of our resident veterans. This observance allowed us to come together as a community and do something special to show them how much we appreciate their courage and commitment to keeping us safe.”

Observed annually on November 11, Veteran’s Day is marked by local remembrances and parades across the U.S., as well as a national ceremony held each year at Arlington National Cemetery.
