U.S. Congress: Little Silver-Oceanport are part of the Fourth Congressional District, long represented by Chris Smith, a Republican. This year, he is challenged by Democrat Matt Jenkins; Jason Cullen of the Libertarian Party and independents Pamela Daniels, David Schmidt and Hank Schroeder. Smith was the only candidate who did not take part in the most recent public forum, held by the League of Women Voters.
