3 Winning Lottery Tickets Sold In 3 Monmouth County Towns

Three lottery tickets totalling more than $400,000 were sold at three different stores in Monmouth County this week.

A Monmouth Beach liquor store sold a $387,391 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot lottery ticket last week, the state lottery announced Tuesday. The store that sold the winning ticket from the Friday, Oct. 5 drawing is Monmouth Beach Supermarket & Liquors at 73 Riverdale Avenue in Monmouth Beach.

Also, there was one New Jersey Lottery ticket sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Saturday drawing, winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. If that ticket had been purchased with Power Play, it would have multiplied the prize to $150,000.

The winning ticket from Saturday night’s drawing was sold at Sungate Mini Mart, 427 Prospect St., Long Branch in Monmouth County.

The winning numbers for the Saturday were: 01, 22, 27, 53 and 67. The Red Power Ball number was 15. The Multiplier number was 03. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $282,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Wednesday at 10:59 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot has climbed to $470 million, the sixth highest Mega Millions jackpot in history. In New Jersey, there were three third-tier prize-winning tickets sold for the Friday drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn, winning the $10,000 prize. Those tickets were purchased at the following locations:

• Monmouth County: Shoprite #637, 1801 Route 35, Belmar;
• Somerset County: Basking Ridge Exxon, 305 King George Rd., Basking Ridge; and
• Union County: Krauszer’s Food Store, 978 St. Georges Ave., Rahway.

If those tickets had been purchased with the Megaplier option, the prizes would be multiplied to $20,000. The winning numbers for the Friday drawing were: 27, 28, 32, 41 and 69. The Gold Mega Ball was 12, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 02.
