AHA Hosted the Spring House Invitational Golf & Track Outing

The Affordable Housing Alliance recently hosted the Annual Spring House Invitational Golf and Track Outing

Colts Neck and Eatontown NJ, August 2018: Golfers and fans of the racetrack alike enjoyed themselves at this year’s Spring House Invitational Golf & Track Outing. Proceeds from the event provide funding for counseling, supportive services and recreation to many economically-challenged families living in housing owned by the Affordable Housing Alliance, helping them to become more independent and financially self-sufficient. The Program provides life-learning programs on aging, English as a second language, eviction prevention, parenting education, nutritional counseling, resume writing and job search assistance. Additional services include an after-school homework club, bingo and family movie nights, and recreational trips and cultural outings, coordinated by licensed social workers.

Many golfers who are our vendors, contractors and board members including their family members of the Affordable Housing Alliance attended. After the complimentary continental breakfast, drinks and cigars the golfers went to their assigned holes for the shot gun start having a great time. After a fun game of golf, over 100 friends attended the horse track for a fun afternoon of races and a delicious barbecue.

This year’s Golf and Track outing was held August 16th at 7:00 in the morning.
