LITTLE SILVER, NJ — Do you want relief from your property taxes, or need help paying them?
The state of New Jersey will hold a property tax relief filing event this Thursday in Little Silver.
The event will be held from 1-5 p.m. Thursday at the Little Silver Women's Club, 111 Church Street. You do not need to register; simply show up.
This is a free event where residents can ask questions about property taxes, get help with ANCHOR applications and any other questions they may have about property taxes.
Seniors (65+) and residents collecting Social Security disability benefits or Railroad Retirement disability benefits, please see the PAS-1 Filing Check List prior to coming, for information and items you will need to bring with you.
For homeowners and renters under 65 and not collecting Social Security disability benefits, all that's required is a government photo ID.
