• NJ American Water contractor to be visiting Little Silver homes starting this week (themonmouthjournaleastern.com) — Expect New Jersey American Water contractors knocking on Little Silver doors soon to inspect water service lines as part of a statewide lead replacement program. Crews from CDM Smith and Alpha Utility Contractors may request access inside, dig small test holes, and will carry official ID and never ask for payment. Residents can also self-report their line material online and continue using water as usual.
