Man Entered Little Silver Home, Exposed Himself, Says Prosecutor

LITTLE SILVER, NJ — The Monmouth County Prosecutor says a Red Bank man illegally entered a home in Little Silver, where he became nude from the waist down and exposed himself to a juvenile in the home.

The homeowner of the home grabbed Ernesto Lozano-Zane, 23, and held him on the front lawn until police arrived.

This happened Sept. 14, said the prosecutor: Shortly after 10 p.m. that night, Little Silver Police responded to a 911 call from a home in the borough. The prosecutor did not release the street.

When police got there, they found the homeowner on the front lawn outside, restraining Lozano-Zane and preventing him from leaving the scene.

Moments earlier, Lozano-Zane had entered the residence via an unlocked front door and proceeded upstairs to a bedroom occupied by a juvenile, said the prosecutor. She alerted the rest of her family that he was there.

He was naked from the waist down. His clothing and other personal items were later found in another bedroom of the home.

Lozano-Zane was taken into custody at the scene pending future proceedings in Monmouth County Superior Court.

Police did not release the age of the juvenile he allegedly exposed himself to, nor did they release if he and the juvenile knew each other prior to the alleged incident.

Lozano-Zane is charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree child endangerment and lewdness, a disorderly persons offense.
