• Five local towns among those to share $9 million in county grants (themonmouthjournaleastern.com) — Little Silver will receive $387,000 from Monmouth County's Municipal Open Space Grant program for Phase 1 improvements at Santelle Park, part of $9.15 million awarded countywide. The funding supports upgrades to parks and recreation areas in 27 municipalities, aiming to enhance outdoor spaces where residents gather, play, and enjoy nature.
• Nude Intruder Entered Little Silver Home, Exposed Himself to Juvenile, Prosecutors Say (shorenewsnetwork.com) — Police say a man from Red Bank entered an unlocked Little Silver home at night, went upstairs nude from the waist down, and exposed himself to a juvenile before the homeowner restrained him outside. The suspect faces burglary, child endangerment, and lewdness charges, and investigators are asking Little Silver residents to report any additional information about his activities.
• County honors RBR's Dr. Louis Moore for selection as Superintendent of the Year (themonmouthjournaleastern.com) — Little Silver's Red Bank Regional High School is in the spotlight as Superintendent Dr. Louis Moore is honored by county commissioners for being named Monmouth County's 2026-27 Superintendent of the Year. The recognition highlights his decade of work leading the Little Silver-based regional high school that serves students from Red Bank, Little Silver, and Shrewsbury.
