JOHN CURLEY VISITS CPC BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE

January 7, 2013:  On Monday, January 14th, Monmouth County Freeholder John P. Curley will visit with senior executives at CPC Behavioral Healthcare at the Agency.  Curley, a second-term Freeholder beginning his fourth year of service, oversees the County’s Department of Human Services, including the Division of Mental Health & Addiction Services.  CPC is one of the county’s largest providers of subsidized behavioral health and special education services, serving more than 8,000 children, adults and families each year.

Freeholder Curley will tour the Agency’s special education school, High Point, as well as one of its principle counseling centers located in Aberdeen.  Hosting Curley will be CPC’s President and CEO, John Mans, of Brick Township, Vera Sansone, COO and Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations, of Fair Haven, and Kerry Herbert, Vice President of Development and Community Relations, of Shrewsbury.  Curley will have the opportunity to meet several CPC program staff and learn more about the impact of CPC, as well as talk with the Agency’s leadership about the case for continuing to strengthen the county’s ability to improve access to timely, affordable mental healthcare for all residents.

A champion for fiscal responsibility and accountability, Curley, a resident of Middletown, served for five years as Councilman in Red Bank before being elected to the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders.

For details about this visit or to request permission to cover the visit, please contact Kerry Herbert at:  732-935-2222.
