Monmouth Park Charity Fund Kentucky Derby Gala

The Monmouth Park Charity Fund will be hosting the 10th Annual Kentucky Derby Day Celebration sponsored by Ray Catena, American Self Storage and Monmouth Medical Center Foundation-Barnabas Health from 3:30-6:30 pm on Saturday, May 4 at

The event will exemplify a true Derby Celebration including simulcast betting throughout the afternoon leading up to the Kentucky Derby Race as well as a silent and chance auction, male and female hat contest, Hors d’oeuvres, a buffet, and an open bar featuring mint juleps.

In addition, the event will be honoring Mr. Warren H. Diamond, CEO of American Real Estate Management and Monmouth County Freeholder, Serena DiMaso, Esq. for their commitment to the well being of our surrounding community. Both honorees are committed to helping the needs of Monmouth County residents through their philanthropic generosity, leadership roles and by spearheading efforts to preserve our Jersey Shore. We will also be recognizing Ms. Jennifer Bane and Mr. Brian Boms, with the Community Leadership Recognition Award for their incredible dedication and support in organizing relief for Hurricane Sandy victims along the Jersey Shore.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Monmouth Park Charity Fund whose mission it is to raise and distribute funds to non-profit agencies throughout Monmouth County. These agencies provide services for health care, those at risk in the community, and those in need of special services. Since the organization’s inception in 1946, over 8.7 million has been distributed to local nonprofit agencies providing these services to residents of Monmouth County. "Monmouth Park Charity Fund's Kentucky Derby Celebration, hosted at Monmouth Park Racetrack, is an exciting way to enjoy the Kentucky Derby while helping to raise funds for the many charities of Monmouth County who care for those in need in our community," stated Maureen Lloyd, Event Chair.
