BelmarArts Hosts Shore House's Fourth Annual "Art of Recovery" Show

Shore House creates awareness for Mental Health through art.

Belmar, October 16, 2015: Shore House members are once again unleashing their artistic talents on the public in a new exhibit at BelmarArts.  The exhibit showcases a variety of work created by the members, including drawings and paintings, created in mediums such as watercolor, pyrography and graphite.  Some Shore House members have received formal training while others are self-taught.  Members create their art not only for its therapeutic value, but as a form of self-expression and because of the positive energy it generates.

The exhibit, free and open to the public, will run through November 6.  A public opening reception will be held on October 16, 2015 from 5-7 pm.  BelmarArts is located in the “Boatworks” building at 608 River Road, Belmar, NJ (the corner of 7th Ave. and Railroad).
